Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Start date: ASAP until Thursday 21st of July (Fixed Term)
Salary: Grade 2 scp 4
Contract: Temporary Fixed Term. Full Time (8.30am – 3.45pm)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual with experience of working with children to support teaching and learning until the end of the Summer Term. Based in Year 4, in the heart of our friendly school, you will work alongside a committed team delivering a meaningful and engaging curriculum that provides every child with the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
Our ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, proactive and have the compassion and skill-set to encourage all our children to reach their full potential and reduce learning barriers. Our candidate will be creative and flexible, and be ready to adapt their own practice to meet the global needs of our children. Most importantly, they will share our passion and commitment to inclusive practices.
Montbelle is a two-form entry, mainstream school in New Eltham. We have amazing grounds, including a Forest School, allotment and a range of environments and resources to support high quality provision and opportunities for engaging learning. We are a maintained school, within the Royal of Greenwich, with good links to other settings and provision to support good staff development. Our stable and established staff are friendly and welcoming and we benefit from an engaged and supportive school community.
